Back 2 School...Sewing Room re-do!

Hey y'all....Sunday Blessings! I don't know about y'all but where did the summer go? Gosh...crazy how time flies. I know the kiddos are back in school and this might be a difficult transition for you. Trust me...it was for me as well. You can read my posts on quilt blog :-) But what I had to realize that it was also a time to do things that would normally not get done. So I would like to invite you to pop on over to my quilting blog (link on right of home page) for my series..."Back 2 School...Sewing Room re-do!" Yes...I'm finally getting some projects finished. You can view previous posts of how I "finally" made an old antique quilt top into drapes & just completed "Jelly Roll Scraps 2a Sewing Machine Cover." I love how the "Old Glory" Jelly Roll designed by Lella Boutique compliments my old quilt top perfectly. In fact, it actually inspired me to make the well need sewing machine cover. I know it's all about "timing" in life but it sure is nice to finally get some projects finished :-) If you aren't familiar with Jelly Rolls they are strips 2 1/2" wide by length of fabric & you get strips of the fabric collection. They are super fun to sew with for many projects. You can view many "Jelly Roll" strip patterns on Missouri Star Quilt Company's website for inspiration.(link on right of home page) Just a hint y'all...I have a super fun happenning soon w/MSQC. So check back in so you don't miss out :-) Pop on over to my quilt blog & lets "Re-do our Sewing Room 2gether!" We have tons of inspirational projects & recipes coming :-) I thank y'all so much for following & talk soon!
