Cats Christmas Left-over Lovin'..."Ham & Potato Soup!"

 Hey y'all...hope your having a great start to your weekend. Some of us might still be celebrating the Holiday's and wondering what to do with the left-overs. Seems no matter how we plan a meal we always have some form of left-overs or left-over lovin' that I say. We are the classic "spiral honey bake ham" family & we always have more ham than you can eat. Well depending your weather you will love a classic homemade soup. This recipe is super easy and convenient especially if your going out and enjoying those holiday sales. You can totally substitute turkey if desired...but will admit I'm a ham fav. Soup is a great way to use left-overs anytime, so feel free to enjoy all year :-) We have a lot of fun plans for 2025 and some new adventurers that I'll be sharing soon. I'll be sharing fun & easy recipes plus home decor as well. Plus my "quilting blog" will be kicking off a new series soon for the New Year. All my links are upper right on home page for your convenience. I hope you enjoy this left-over lovin' recipe and keep checking back for more fun & d'lish recipes. I thank y'all so much for following & hope your enjoying and making memories with your loved ones. Enjoy!

Christmas Classic!..."Spiced Pecans 4 Santa"

 Hey y'all...Merry Christmas Eve! It's hard to believe that tomorrow is Christmas. I love Christmas traditions...planning a fun meal with my daughter...making sure we "keep it simple" for my sweet Grandson & cooking my son-in-law's favs. It can get a little hectic but it's the best time in the world for sure! These are the "moments" that you'll remember forever. My grandson Davin reminds me to "keep it simple Gege" I love the fact that he has an "old soul" and loves the old family traditions. Sometimes I tend to forget that the "simple things" are the most memorable. It's not what you cook...or bake it's the memories you are making together in your kitchen. So don't stress...take my grandsons advice & keep it simple. You'll be thankful...I promise you! I know we're alway's baking cookies for Santa which can be time consuming if you decorate them as well. So, I wanted to share a super easy but d'lish classic recipe of "Spiced Pecans." If you're not a pecan fan you can subsitute any nut you prefer. These will disappear fast and honestly they are great for any celebration. Stagger them throughout your charcuterie board and watch everyone enjoy. I will reccomend a non-stick pan due to the sugar. Also adjust the spices to your family's likes. I hope this classic recipe helps you for that last minute baking. I thank y'all so much for following & wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Check back soon for some great recipes using those Holiday leftovers. Enjoy!

* 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

* 1 tsp. salt

* 1/4 cup water

* 3 cups pecan halves or your desired nuts

* Pinch of Humor (a must in my kitchen)

Here's all you do...

* Combine all ingredients except pecans in a non-stick pan. Cook over medium heat,,,stirring constantly until all sugar is dissolves.

* Continue cooking to soft boil stage about 232 degrees.

* Remove from heat...add pecans & stir until all combined.

* Place on wax paper & separate w/a fork if needed.

* Let cool completely.

* Place in a container or ziplock bag to keep fresh if waiting to gobble them up!

These also make a great gift too. :-)

"Christmas Classic Breakfast Wreath"

 Hey y'all...hope your weekend is off to a great start. It' beginning to look or should I say "smell" like Christmas. I've been reminded lately by my sweet Grandson Davin to keep things simple. It really brought me to reality. I for one always try to make a handmade gift...bake from scratch then I wonder why I'm so stressed. As I've aged a bit I've realized I just can't do it all anymore. Maybe that's why he's been telling me to keep things simple :-) Actually I'm blessed to have a grandson that loves the simple traditions. Well in honor of his wishes I recently remembered the old Classic Christmas wreath made from Pillsbury Cinnamon rolls. Seriously besides the awesome smell while baking...you can't get any more easier for a festive Christmas Breakfast morning. I wanted to post this because I for one forgot about this fun recipe. It's definately a simple classic but you can alway's fancy it up to your family's traditions. I did decorate mine with the "red hots" which can be hard to find so any candy would work or pipe some decor with frosting. I used the frosting that came with the rolls but placed in a plastic bag and added a 1/4 tsp. of milk to thin for piping. I'm enjoying the classic christmas memories and I hope this will help y'all with some last minute fun & easy baking. It' also a great gift to make and give on a decoratie plate. Tell them to keep the plate too. A win in my book! So koodos to my grandson for telling me to keep it simple. I just might keep things more simple in the New year! Check back soon for some more fun & easy Holiday recipes. Enjoy!

Here's all you need...

* Pillsbury cinnamon rolls (8 count)

* 1/2 tsp. milk

* Red hots (opt. but festive)

* Bundt pan

* Pinch of humor :-) always a must in my kitchen!

Here's all you do...

* Preheat oven as directed on rolls. Spray bundt pan w/baking spray. I used Pam w/flour.

* Place cinnamon rolls in pan with cinnamon side up & edges touching.

* Bake as directed on can but ovens vary so check to make sure complety cooked. The good old "toothpick check" :-)

* Let cool slighlty then carefully invert rolls on one pan then invert again on your serving plate. This technique helps to prevent rolls breaking when flipped.

Tip...if your rolls separate just glue back with a little frosting on edges. Nobody will notice :-)

Decorating...

Great time to get the kiddos involved too.

* Remove frosting that came in can and place in a ziplock bag.

* Add about a 1/2 tsp. of milk...use fingers to blend while in bag.

* Squeeze the frosting to one end...twist and make a small snip at corner.

* Drizzle over wreath as pictured or get creative and have fun!

* Decorate as desired and enjoy.

Your family will love waking up to the smell of cinnamon rolls too.

Tis the Season 2B Scrappy! "Gingerbread Man Gift Tag or Ornament"

 Hey y'all...hope all is going well. It's hard to believe we are already counting down the days until Christmas. I personally need 3 more months of sewing. Ugh! Time sure does fly when you're Stitchin' Up Christmas. I guess that's why I've decided to Quilt-Mas all year in 2025. I'll have Christmas quilt designs along with home decor and some real exciting "Scrap-a-longs" as well. If you're like me sewing Christmas presents brings me joy so I decided why not do it all year. Funny note...maybe I will be less grumpy sewing Christmas all year...hmmm. Well...:-) I've also decided that I'm keeping my Christmas decor in sewing room to keep me in the festive mood too! If you follow me on Instagram you can see the sweet Quilter's poem that came in Jenny's Countdown to Christmas box this year. I love the sentiment and it's displayed on a shelf along with some other "MSQC items." I'm excited about sharing home decor and tips with y'all along with fun & easy recipes. If you pop on over to my Quilting blog you can view some of the ornaments I've been making along with gift bags that are 100% Re-Gift-able. My projects take a bit longer due to sewing in moderation but I truly feel a gift from the heart will be cherished forever. The cute Gingerbread Man gift tag can aslo be used as an ornament to hang on the tree. It's a sweet gesture tied to a present and you can share the sentiment of them being able to use next year on the tree. We laugh in our family 'cause I'm always thinking of ways for them to "remember me." :-) Well...I hope your month of gift giving is going great. If you have time pop on over to quilt blog and make some of these adorable scrappy Gingerbread Men. All the supplies needed are listed as well. Thanks so much for following and check back soon for some festive Holiday recipes. Talk soon!

Cuisinart Mat...My New Kitchen BFF!

 Hey y'all...hope all is well & prayers for Hurricane recovery. This was horrible but we dodged it with our part of Florida. I watch the news every morning and the devistation that Helene brought to this world is horrible. I for one tend to freak just knowing it could come my way but then knowing it's not that far away is a very freaky feeling. Unfortunately with my anxiety I tend to "snack" when I'm anxious. Our power did not go out even though we had winds and heavy rain. When I'm anxious I like to be in the kitchen. I guess cooking and baking is a stress relief for me. I was able to focus on my new series that I'll be sharing with y'all soon. But I do want to share my new "kitchen BFF." I'm sure y'all know that I have back issues. My standing is limited but as I've previously mentioned "I'm not giving up." I do things a lot differently and in moderation. Recently, I was in the kitchen area of one of my favorite stores and came across this mat. I've never used a mat before mostly due to be afraid of tripping over one. This mat by "Cuisinart" has been a game changer for me. It brought relief to my back while standing. It doesn't slide like I thought it would plus it's super cute too. I love it when you get function that matches your decor. If you have any type of back issues and standing while cooking/baking, etc. is difficult then I fully recommend a padded mat. They are easy to find in most kitchen areas of your local stores. I'm also sharing this info with y'all to "prep" you with my new series that I'll be sharing with you soon. The Holidays are approaching and if your like me you want something delish but time-saving. The Holidays are hectic without spending all day in the kitchen prepping. Plus my recipes need to be fast & dlish due to my limitations in the kitchen. I'll be sharing "tools" that I love to make baking a breeze or gift ideas....recipes that will make your Holiday cooking fun & fun-ctional decor. I will state we've already started making "gift bags that are 100% Re-gift-able" on my quilt blog. My recipes and designs are super easy & I hope you follow along so we can all have a fun-tastic Holiday Season 2gether! I thank you so much for following. Talk soon!

Jelly Roll Gift Bags....100% Re-gift-able! (medium size)

 Hey y'all...hope all is going well. Been a bit crazy on my end so trying to play "catch up." I know it's only September and most of us are working on fall decor but I wanted to share this fun & easy gift idea with y'all. On my "quilt blog" link on right of home page...I started a series using one Jelly Roll "Joyful Holidays" by Robert Kaufman. I recieved this from Missouri Star Quilt Company & the collection is stunning. I love Batiks. It's amazing of how Batiks are made. So much time & thought goes into every fabric design. The concept of making a gift bag that is 100% re-gift-able inspiration came from my Grandson Davin last year at Christmas. He loves to recycle. Me...I'm working on it :-) Well last Christmas I made small bags to hold gift cards, etc. It was a challenge to see how many gift items I could make from one charm pack. It is still on my quilt blog & pinterest if you need more inspiration. Well, I am also challenging myself to see how many gift bags I can make from one jelly roll. I'm also incorporating the fun Holiday templates from MSQC too. You can see how stunning this fabric is in the pic below. The bags are super easy and fun to make. Who wouldn't love a "handmade gift bag" that is re-gift-able...right? :-) The "Olga" 45mm Rotary cutter fits perfectly inside. Great gift size for giving crafting supplies :-) The concept is the same..I just add the techniques used in each bag a long the way. You will mostly be reverting back to the medium "Holiday Tree" bag for instructions. If you need supplies my link to MSQC will take you to all the daily deals...tutorials & Birthday Bash Celebrations. Check out all the fun pics on Instagram...Facebook etc. MSQC is celebrating 16 years! Plus follow me on Instagram (link on right) because I am giving away one Jelly roll that MSQC graciously gave me to give to one lucky winner. View my post on Instagram for all the details. But Hurry...the contest end tonight at midnight :-) We have a lot going on the next several weeks so I thank y'all for following along. So grab your Jelly Rolls and Lets re-cycle "One Bag @ a Time 2gether!"

Back 2 School...Sewing Room re-do!

 Hey y'all....Sunday Blessings! I don't know about y'all but where did the summer go? Gosh...crazy how time flies. I know the kiddos are back in school and this might be a difficult transition for you. Trust me...it was for me as well. You can read my posts on quilt blog :-) But what I had to realize that it was also a time to do things that would normally not get done. So I would like to invite you to pop on over to my quilting blog (link on right of home page) for my series..."Back 2 School...Sewing Room re-do!" Yes...I'm finally getting some projects finished. You can view previous posts of how I "finally" made an old antique quilt top into drapes & just completed "Jelly Roll Scraps 2a Sewing Machine Cover." I love how the "Old Glory" Jelly Roll designed by Lella Boutique compliments my old quilt top perfectly. In fact, it actually inspired me to make the well need sewing machine cover. I know it's all about "timing" in life but it sure is nice to finally get some projects finished :-) If you aren't familiar with Jelly Rolls they are strips 2 1/2" wide by length of fabric & you get strips of the fabric collection. They are super fun to sew with for many projects. You can view many "Jelly Roll" strip patterns on Missouri Star Quilt Company's website for inspiration.(link on right of home page) Just a hint y'all...I have a super fun happenning soon w/MSQC. So check back in so you don't miss out :-) Pop on over to my quilt blog & lets "Re-do our Sewing Room 2gether!" Back 2 School Sides.."Cats Chicken Enchilada Wraps!"

 Hey y'all...hope you're having a great weekend. I've been getting projects caught up....trying to do some organizing in my sewing room and kitchen. Sometimes I don't know if I'm organizing or just 'shifiting" items to a different location. Hmmm...anyone else relate? I made a "bucket list" of items to accompolish this summer and needless to say not too many items have been scratched off. I don't know about y'all but where did this summer go??? Seeing back to school adds on t.v. honestly scared me. I'm a "Gege" & don't worry about back to school but it makes you realize how time flies too fast. I've been hosting designs on my quilt blog and working on upcoming Holiday designs as well. Seriously y'all...life is precious...make everyday count....take the good with the bad & don't get upset over things you cannot change. Adivice from my dear late daddy. He always had a positive thought even when all heck was breaking loose. Amazing man & I'm blessed to still have his positive thoughts to remember. Talking to my daughter and hearing how the hustle of back to school has already started in their summer prep made me realize to share my "easy recipes." I'll be hosting along with my "crafty designs"...Back 2 School Summer Sides & Snacks. They are my go to recipes that I still make today. I make mine with a bit of a healthi-r version due to my restrictions but adapt to your family needs. They are super fast & easy and great for those evenings when your feeding your kiddos before practices etc. I can't even imagine y'alls busy schedules with kids schedules and events. I was blessed with one beautiful daughter that participated in many events and sports and nights we're hectic. Sometimes a fast & d'lish recipe is all we need to get us through the week. The recipe I'm sharing is using pre-cooked chicken from the deli section and can be easily microwaved too. Super easy :-) Don't forget to pop on over to my Instagram page (link upper right on home page). I'll be drawing one lucky winner tonight at midnight to win the Christmas Template Set that Missouri Star Quilt Company graciously gifted me to give away. I'll be hosting "Santas Christmas Cookie Party" hostess gifts starting tomorrow on quilt blog using these adorable templates. I've already started "Santas SN-UGLY Sweater Dinner Party" runner on blog too. Tis the Season y'all :-) My link to MSQC on home page w/ save you 20% off $50. or more in August on most items for your sewing/crafting/quilting supplies.  Hey y'all...hope everyone is doing well especially with this crazy weather we're having. I know previously I stated that I wouldn't talk about the weather but it's been nuts. I pray every morning for safety for all and strength for those that are dealing with devastation. I just can't imagine. They need everyone's thoughts and prayers. Then tomorrow starts hurricane season. Yes...third season for me and last year I stated..."never again." I'm trying hard to make the right buying decision but this crazy houseing market isn't helping. I'm "stress-eating" ..."stress-sewing" you name it...it's happening! Least with my sewing/quilting I can't gain weight :-) I do enjoy cooking no matter what's going on in my life. Cooking does calm me plus I love putting a twist on my original recipes making them health-r.  My sweet Grandson is keeping me focused but sometimes you do need a "comfort dinner." The recipe I'll be sharing w/y'all today is a favorite in my family. I combined the love of Texas Mexican food but with a twist for a fast dinner for those hectic evenings. Summer is about to begin...the kiddos are home & hungry. You have activities probably everyday with the kiddos so a fast recipe is a must. Believe me...I remember those days. Remember to adjust any recipies to your dietary needs and your families likes or dislikes. Due to my health restraints I tend to suppliment red meat with ground chicken or turkey. Oh before I forget...we have a lot of exciting projects happening over on my quilt blog. So check it out when you have a moment. I'll be featuring home decor projects & great projects to teach the kiddos to sew this summer. In fact...the casserole is resting on my "Party-Point Trivet"...you know me it's all about "fun-ctional decor." Also, if you follow me on "Pinterest" I share inspirational designs/projects from fellow quilter's too. My quilt blog link is on upper right of home page along with my discount link to Missouri Star Quilt Company for sewing/crafting/quilting supplies. As always...I thank y'all so much for following. Hope you enjoy this recipe on the porch or inside :-)

Cats Texas Cornbread Casserole...

Here's all you need...

* 1 pkg Martha White Sweet Yellow Cornbread Mix

* 1/2 cup milk

* 1 egg

* 1/2 lb. ground chicken or your choice of meat.

* 2 Tb. Taco Seasoning

* 1 (10.oz.) pkg Fresco Cheeze (mexican Crumble Cheese)

* 1 (15 oz). can Bush's Black Beans (rinse/drain)

* 1 (10 oz). can each of Old El Paso Mild  Red & Green Enchilada Sauce.

* 2-3 small red/green peppers

* Pinch of Humor :-)

Here's all you do...

* Preheat oven to 375*

* Prepare large crock...spray bottom/sides with non-stick cooking spray.

* Make cornbread per package directions.

* Fill Crock with cornbread mix and bake for about 10-12 minutes. Ovens vary & crocks cook faster.

Tip... While cornbread is cooking... cook ground chicken in peppers and season with Taco Seasoning. Set aside.

* Carefully remove cornbread from oven & poke tiny holes in cornbread.

* Layer on top of cornbread 1/2 of meat....Beans...1/4 c each of the Enchillada Sauces...then cheese.

* Repeat layers and end with "crumbled cheese on top" as much as you desire :-)

Note...I don't use all of the Enchillada sauce due to using 2 different kids and it prevents casserole from being too juicy.

* Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 30 minutes.

* Uncover and bake for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. (ovens vary)

Carefully remove from oven...let cool a bit...juice will set as it rests.

Serve on your "trivet" along with a side salad & enjoy!

Talk soon!

Suppers on the Porch..."Cats Brownie Cheesecake w/a Srawberry Drizzle!

 Hey y'all...it's finally Friday! I'm hoping y'all have a long weekend to rest...relax.& celebrate Memorial Day! This time of year is pretty exciting. We have graduation ceremonies...Memorial weekend festivities and it's the official kick-off to what am I going to make for these activities :-) So today I'm sharing with you a d'lish recipe that I'm sure will win folks of all ages. I love brownies...what child or adult doesn't. But when you combine the love of "cheesecake" with a brownie you have a match made in heaven. Oh course I had to get some "red" in w/a strawberry drizzle. You can definately just slice strawberry's if desired but with all the food alergies I like to play it safe. Plus a drizzle gives your guest involved. It's really fun to watch how they smile just by adding a drizzle onto a dessert. If y'all have noticed "I'm a bit crock-crazy." I love to bake and serve in the same dish. It's a time-saver plus less dishes to wash. I have 'crocks" from all sizes and will admit they are yard sale finds. I've collected them for many years and they do last forever. Plus it seems foods cook better in a crock. I guess it's like a cast iron pan where the heat is evenly distributed. Who knows...way beyond my smarts :-) I hope you give this recipe a try & make it the "centerpiece" of your holiday entertaining. It does have a few steps but also convenient because you make ahead & refridgerate over night. Less-stress for your holiday entertainig :-)  Don't forget to pop on over to my quilting blog for my series "America...Sew Beautiful" fun-ctional projects for home decor & entertaining. My link to Missouri Star Quilt Company will save you 20% off $50. or more for the month of May for sewing/crafting/quilting supplies. Check their tutorials out for inspiration plus daily deals too! I thank y'all so much for following & have a joyous Memorial weekend!

Here's all you need...

* Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix

* 1 tsp. sugar

* Pinch of humor :-)

Here's all you do...

Tip...placing on a small baking sheet helps remove from oven safely...for me anyway :-)

* Prepare brownie mix per pkg. directions.

* add in 1 tsp.instant espresso powder.

* Fill crock w/about 3/4 of batter.

* Prepate a small baking dish as above for the rest of the batter. (this is a great topping for kiddos)

* Bake  for about 15-20 minutes (check w/a toothpick) ovens vary.

* Remove and let completely cool.

Tip...once cooled wipe the crock edges clean w/a wet paper towel & run a knife around the edges to loosen brownie from sides before adding the cream cheese filling. Cleaner presentation :-)

Cream Cheese Filling...

* Blend cream cheese...pwdered sugar until creamy.

* Spoon over cooled brownie.

* Cover & place in refridgerater over night.

Before serving...blend your strawberries w/a tsp.sugar and place in a serving dish.

Suppers on the Porch..."Cats Italian Casserole"

 Hey y'all...hope you're having a great weekend. I know some of y'all are having graduation celebrations so I hope the weather is being kind. If you pop on over to my quilt blog you can read the funny story of how the weather was not so kind when my daughter was graduating with her Masters Degree. Thats Texas. One minute you're thinking yagh a great weather day then...not. But we'll have those memories to laugh about for a long time. As y'all know I've started my series "Suppers on the Porch." It includes home decor for entertaining...recipes to eat while on the porch or inside :-) But I've also started my 3-part series "America...Sew...Beautiful" on my quilt blog. I'll be sharing home decor...fun-ctional decor when entertaining and recipes as well on this page. Yes...they will all compliment each other but also give you a chance to make some easy & fun-ctional decor when entertaining. It started today on quilt blog so pop on over there when you have a chance. My link on home page will take you right to site. Also with summer approaching soon and you might have the kiddos to entertain then you will find some super fun projects to teach the kiddos too. Most of my designs are geared towards the new quilter...teachings kids so sew but with advanced tips a long the way. My designs feature items from Missouri Star Quilt Company and my link (upper right on home page" w/save you 20% off $50. or more for the month of May. I love it when the continue a great discount for sewing/crafting.quilting supplies. Well today I'm sharing one of my fav's with y'all. I love Italian food but I have to watch my "intake" so recently I put a "healthi-r twist" on my casserole dish per my grandson. He likes to keep me in line. :-) They eat healthy so the meat suppliment was inspired by him Of course you can use whatever meat you desire but give this one a try if you too are cutting back a bit. Now the "cheese" is another story. You're on your own for that suppliment. I found out for me that a simple "low fat" cheese works well. Everything in life is full of moderation so do what's best for you and your loved ones. My favorite restaurant is the "O.G."...when they come by with that cheese grader I just feel like I'm in cheese heaven. :-) Well I have a lot more easy & d'lish recipes coming soon so stay tuned. Don't forget to use your trivet :-) As always...I thank you so much for following!

"Better Together Aprons"...You're Never 2 old 4 Mother/Daughter Aprons!

 Hey y'all...hope all is going well and weather is being kind. My prayers to all going through this crazy "Spring Weather." Geeze...this has been nuts! I wanted to share w/y'all my recent project that would be a great Mother's day gift...graduation...birthday or just because I love you. The pattern "Better Together Aprons" by Missouri Star Quilt Company is super easy to follow & versatile too. Easily adjust the pattern for sizes and would make a super cute Mother/Son duo by just changing the fabric if needed. Speaking of fabric...I'm in Love w/the Sage Yuma Lemon Canvas by Art Gallery Fabrics. The quality is very easy to sew with that I even made the straps to coordinate. Yes, you can make the straps from the cotton twill tape that is stated on pattern project supplies. My goal was to challenge myself this year to step out of my comfort zone...try new things & I had a blast making the straps. These aprons are so special, and I can't wait to pack mine along when my daughter and I are cooking/baking together. Cats Series..."Braiser 2 Table"..."Irish Stew w/Golden Potatoes"

 Hey y'all...hope you're having a great weekend and getting ready for St. Patrick's Day. This holiday is dear to my heart. It was my dear dad's favorite. We are an Irish family, so he like to have traditional moments but silly ones as well. I remember one Holiday we're he pinched me, and I said "hey...I'm wearing green1" He just shrugged his head and snickered. That was my dad! Fun memories. Well even if you're not of Irish decent you'll want to make this super easy stew. I love my Cuisinart Braiser pan it's so convenient for cooking then serving straight to the table. Plus, as you can see in the pic below it makes a statement when entertaining. I will share an old secret with y'all. I purchase an inexpensive piece of chuck roast because I let the meat simmer for several hours which makes the meat tender. Yes, I'm sure you could do the same in a crock pot but.... would that really make a great "statement" when serving. You would have to use a serving dish and for me that's just another dish to wash. The other secret is I use one packet of "Lipton Onion Soup Mix." Yup...has all the basic seasonings and inexpensive too. It's one of my "pantry staples" and your home will smell amazing :-) I wish y'all a Happy St. Patrick's Day & check back soon for more of my mini-series..."Braiser 2 Table." Thanks so much for following!

Note:...If you need any sewing/crafting/quilting supplies my link to Missouri Star Quilt Co. (upper right on home page) will save you 20% off $50. or more until March 31st. to celebrate National Quilting Month!

P.S....Today is National Quilting Day! Enjoy :-)

Here's all you need...

* Sm. Chuck roast or your preferred cut of meat

* Sm bag of Honey Gold bite size potatoes (of course I had to throw in the "Gold for St.Patricks Day"

* Sm. bag of mini carrotts

* 1 pkg. of Lipton Onion Soup Mix

* Salt/Pepper if desired

* Pinch of Humor :-)

Here's all you do...

* Coat the bottom of your braiser pan with olive oil or cooking oil.

* Season your meat w/salt & Pepper and lightly sear on both sides on low-medium heat.

* Mix soup mix with 2 cups of warm water.

* Add potatoes & carrots to pan and cover with soup liquid.

* Bring to a slight boil then reduce heat to low....cover and simmer for 2-3 hours or until meat is tender.

Tip...you will need to add warm water as it cooks which also makes the wonderful broth :-)

When meat is tender remove from pan...lightly shred or slice and place back in center of pan.

Makes a great presentation when serving :-)

Enjoy!
